Situated at 49 Jetty Road, Brighton, Patchwork by Sea was established in October 1998 by two friends Polly Taylor and Mary Rothe. Since purchasing the business in 2007, Jen & Terry strive to maintain the high level of service that Patchwork By Sea is known for.

Patchwork By Sea has always been our favourite shop. It has always had great atmosphere and lovely staff. I don't know about Terry but I have to keep pinching myself constantly to see if this is a dream or reality since buying the business in July 2007.

Terry and I met when we were only 16, and have been best friends ever since, later marrying in 1986. We have three children Robert, Alynda and Peter. We moved from Sydney to live in wonderful Adelaide in 1996 for a better way of life. We just love it!

Jen has been involved in quilting since 1994 and Terry started a bit later in 2001. We both belong to the Quilters’ Guild of S.A.

Patchwork by Sea provides a very wide and comprehensive resource for quilters, including a huge range of fabrics, threads, patterns and books and classes. We look forward to meeting you as you come to visit us in the shop.

We are open 9am - 5 pm 7 days a week.

10am - 4pm Public Holidays
