A Day in Happyland block of the month designed by Anni Downs from Hatched and Patched

This quilt is so easy to make with simple woven wool applique and stitchery. A little bit quirky and a whole lot of whimsical.

The quilt uses a natural linen, Japanese taupes and hand-dyed woven wools, and has a finished size of 55" x 56".

A Day in HappyLand is one of the most relaxing quilts Anni has ever made, consisting mainly of wool applique and stitchery. Each month there are at least 6 applique images to create, each being stitched on a natural linen background. These are then stitched down onto a background fabric, giving the illusion of the blocks floating around together.

The techniques are very simple, using fusible web applique and a whip-stitch for the woven wool applique, and mainly backstitch for the stitchery component.

The program runs over 12 months, costing $59 per month plus postage which includes the pattern, all hand-dyed woven wool, linen, Japanese taupes, 8 delicious Valdani embroidery threads for the stitchery which are colourfast and hand-dyed with beautiful variegations to make your work shine!
Also included are 9 Aurifil wool/lana threads for the woven wool applique.

By signing up to a Block of the Month, a complete kit will be put aside for you so that all fabrics are cut from the same bolt to ensure they are matching.
I understand that once started I am not able to cancel at anytime during the specified time that would leave us an incomplete kit.

As monthly payments cannot be processed on our website for our block of the months, please ensure your phone number is correct during the checkout stage so that we can ring you for credit card details to enable us to process your continuing monthly payments.

By ordering this BOM today, you are paying for month 1 only. 
We will process month 2 payments including postage before sending month 1. 
This means your payments will always be one month in advance with the final month of your BOM to be sent with no payment required.

When purchasing a BOM, you are making a commitment to purchase the number of months specified and for the monthly amount to be deducted from your credit card each month. 

Payments will be deducted on 1st of each month or as close as possible.

Your month 1 payment is a registration fee that is non refundable should you wish to cancel before receiving your month 1 parcel.
