A framed redwork piece, featuring felt and double-sided fabric embellishment. A little felt dove sits in her redwork tree which bears the sweetest of fruit.

The tree is embroidered and embellished with felt hearts and leaves are created with semi-detached appliqué. This style of applique casts a small shadow, adding an element of dimension to the piece. This simple technique that can be also be used to enhance other projects.
